Which supermarkets does it work with?
Whipp works with the big supermarkets on both sides of the Atlantic. In the US that’s chains like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Whole Foods and Aldi; in the UK, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and more. You shop the store you already use — Whipp just plans the week and builds the list to match.
How accurate is the total?
It’s a close estimate, not an exact receipt. Whipp gives you a solid sense of the week’s cost before you check out, so there’s no nasty surprise at the register. Prices shift between stores and weeks.
So who delivers the groceries?
You do — the same shop you were already doing. Whipp isn’t a delivery service or a recipe box: it plans your week and hands you the aisle-by-aisle list with the total. No box on your doorstep, no markup on pre-portioned ingredients.
Can it handle my diet, allergies and the foods I can’t stand?
Yes. Set vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and more, flag your allergies, and add any ingredient you’d rather never see again. Whipp respects all of it on every week, automatically. Tell it cilantro is out and it stays out.
What if I don’t have an oven?
Whipp plans around the appliances you actually own — a stovetop, an air fryer, an oven, whatever your kitchen has. Tell it what you cook with and every recipe in your week is one you can genuinely make tonight.
Is Whipp free?
It’s free to download and try. Plan your first week with nothing to pay up front. After that it’s a paid, auto-renewing subscription, so you’ll know it fits before you commit. We keep the pricing clear on the App Store.
